Help Us Celebrate Our Retiring Teachers!
This year, we are saying farewell to Mr. Itkoff and Mrs. Norris as they retire. The yearbook is creating special pages dedicated to them. If your family has a meaningful photo or message to share we would love to include it. This is a great opportunity to help us honor their years of dedication and the impact they’ve had on our school community.

Volunteer readers for “Character Day”
Help us bring our favorite characters to life! We are looking for volunteer readers for “Character Day” on Friday, May 23, 8:25-10:00 am.
Participants will select and read one of their favorite children’s books to seven groups of students who will rotate through the classrooms. You may or may not be reading in your own TK, K, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade child’s classroom - but your child WILL be able to hear you read your story!
The book you choose should be no longer than 10 minutes, or you can read a 10 minute section of a longer story. If your book is shorter than 10 minutes, you can ask the students questions about the story or answer any questions they may have for you. Costumes are encouraged!
If interested, please send in the form that was sent home or email Von Norris at vnorris@fcusd.org by May 2nd. You do not need to be a Category 2 Volunteer for this opportunity!
