2025 Facilities Comprehensive Plan - April 3, 5-6 pm 

FCUSD is thrilled to invite you to a community workshop where the progress of our 2025 Facilities Comprehensive Plan will be unveiled, to include information about our campus. You will have an opportunity to gather information and share your thoughts. Join us for a presentation and listening session where your ideas will play a pivotal role in defining the visionary direction for Gallardo’s campus.

The Yearbook Cover Contest is open!

This year’s theme is Kindness Unites Us, and all submissions are due by Monday, March 31.

Students should drop off their artwork in the turn-in basket in the office. Parent involvement in the illustration is discouraged, though younger students may have help writing the year (2024-2025), the school name (Sandra J. Gallardo Elementary), and the theme. However, the artwork itself must be completed independently.

We are looking for enthusiastic and positive members to help us in our mission to "positively impact the lives of all Gallardo children and families" by serving on our PTA Board next year! Open Board Positions include: Executive Vice President, Vice President of Fundraising, Director of Clubs, VP of Membership/Member Engagement, and Historian, as well as many Chair Opportunities. Vision and Hearing Screening 

From Gallardo’s Health Office: Students in grades Kindergarten, 2nd, and 5th, will participate in the annual State mandated Vision and Hearing Screening. This will be conducted at Gallardo on Tuesday, February 25, and Wednesday, February 26.

Student(s) are asked to bring any prescribed glasses to the screening. If you prefer your student opt-out of the screening, notify Mrs. Graham in writing at pgraham@fcusd.org, no later than Monday, February 24.
